Sales, Delivery & Return Policy

1. Ownership and Payment

Goods remain the property of B&B Timber & Builders Merchants Ltd until paid for in full.

3. Inspection of Deliveries

Customers must fully inspect doors, sanitaryware and all other deliveries on receipt. Claims for visible damage cannot be accepted once the 48-hour window has passed.

4. Unloading Assistance

Customers are responsible for arranging assistance to unload. Our delivery personnel will not carry goods inside the property.

5. Returns

Returns are accepted at our discretion, to our yard, within 14 days of delivery, in original condition. A 30% handling charge applies. We do not collect returns or over-ordered goods

Refunds for card payments are returned to the original card. We cannot refund to cash or to an alternative card.

8. Overdue Accounts

Payment is strictly 30 days from statement date. Overdue accounts are charged interest at 2.5% per month on the outstanding balance from the due date until payment is received, together with our reasonable costs of recovery.

9. Delivery Cancellations and Waiting Time

Deliveries cancelled without reasonable notice are chargeable — in practice, once goods have been picked for your delivery, which is usually from 4pm on the working day before. The same applies where we cannot complete a delivery because the site cannot receive the goods. Driver waiting time is charged after the first 15 minutes. Charges are based on the vehicle allocated and the stage the order has reached. Moving your delivery to another day always costs less than cancelling it — please call the transport office as early as you can and we will re-slot it.
